Healing journey
In December of 2014 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. This is a very rare pediatric cancer of the muscles and bones. My life changed forever and to this day I am committed to a healing adventure of a lifetime.
In 2015 I endured one year of radical chemotherapy and 5 weeks of radiation, on my face, neck and spine. At 33 years old I went into full remission, and I have been completely cancer free for over 8 years.
My cancer experience taught me to become the co-creator in my healing process. I integrated traditional allopathic modalities along side holistic ones. During this journey I learned that healing is not about fixing, rather returning to our true selves which is whole and healthy.
8 years later, I understand my illness as a catalyst towards my dharma and purpose. My cancer experience was and is what opened my heart to healing, and has taken me down the rabbit hole of miracles, spirituality, and grace.
Modalities I utilize along my healing journey include: Whole food nutrition, Yoga, kangan alkaline water, sound healing, meditation, prayer, massage therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, reiki, reflexology, nature healing, traveling, aromatherapy, self inquiry, relaxation, moving my body, adequate sleep, being creative, studying the healing arts & metaphysics, listening to my body, trusting my intuition, living my truth, working with coaches, healers, doctors and mentors to support my healing and wellness path.
Healing is possible.
