Sound Healing

What is a Sound Bath?
Sound Bath or “Sound Healing”- also known as “Nada Yoga”. Is the Yoga (Union) of Sound and Vibration. This practice is a deeply-immersive, relaxing, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound & vibration to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body.
What can I expect?
The experience begins with each person seated in a comfortable position. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, mindfulness & group mantra. The remainder of the experience is spent lying down often with a blanket, bolster and an eye mask. The sound healing facilitator then introduces different sounds and frequencies in succession. The sounds are created by a variety of overtone- emitting instruments. Such as, but not limited to crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, the gong, Buffalo drums, Koshi and flow chimes, harmonium, sacred mantras, silence and voice. In addition, aromatherapy and or smudging is often included in the experience.
